So I was playing with the idea of getting an FPV camera drone (assuming funding allows) and I remembered one that was recommended to me for about $450, a little outside my budget, but I figured, what the hell, I'll see if I can find it, I didn't, but I found something else, it's even smaller and has twice the flight time as the other one (if I recall correctly), and it's significantly cheaper, what are your opinions? I found a couple more smaller and cheaper still, with one fitting in the palm of your hand, but those ones seemed to require WiFi to work, this (I think) does not. And one of them was not real time, this one is. I like the auto return feature, does that mean that if I fly it out of range it automatically flies back?

It's not clear exactly how that works from the product description - it says if it gets out of range just push the return button and it will fly back, but if it is out of range how will it know the button has been pressed? Also for sensors it only has a 6 axis gyro, no GPS, so it won't be very accurate in knowing where to return home to. |
