[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Microsoft Word page border question

When I put a border around the edge of a page, the bottom line never prints and won't show up in the preview.

How can I correct this and get the line at the bottom?

Change the bottom margin.

It's not compatible with your printer.

ie: make the bottom margin bigger

Never made a difference when I tried it.

Thanks but it still won't do it.

I come up with "The page borders of section 1are set outside of printable area of the page."

I put the bottom border up to 2.75 inches and it still won't do it.

Is there something else I am doing wrong?

Is this always? On every document?

If no, cut and paste to one that prints properly, if that don't work you may be in for a re-intall. I once screwed up my normal.doc template (the one your program always starts with) and drove myself crazy fixing it.

An uninstall - reinstall fixed it.

It must be a screwed up template then. I'll have to uninstall/reinstall it.
