Last time I used the "Archive IM" feature, it was all plaintext. I wish there was some way we could download/archive it into richtext, or some other file format which would retain the message formatting. I wonder how hard it would be to convert to .eml or some other email-type file format? Purely a suggestion; not a complaint. |
On the list, but not sure when it will come to pass. Most likely they will be done up in an HTML format to keep things simple. |

Ya I "went to bed' an hour and half ago, but I can't sleep nights I do new code pushes because I HAVE TO BE SURE things are running smoothly. I think the unread message bug is finally dead and the servers have been responding better than expected tonight. All in all, things have improved on our end so much that we had record numbers tonight and an increase in BW usage from that traffic. Tomorrow we'll be adding a little more to BW to grow into. Hard to believe 5 years ago this place ran on a T1 and just 2 years ago we were at 10Mbps. Now we're pushing 25Mbps steady at peak hours and still pushing text heavy pages! While we're here, just us two, the new site design for the 2008 rebuild is pretty damn nice. We cut out a chunk of the advertising space up top, cleaned up the pages, and dolled it up to a nice shine. We're also trying to implement full skinning for everyone. That means gold+ will be able to design their own skins and share them with each other. Custom graphics, window locations, display options, etc. Should be a hell of a new site!  Oh ya I'm finishing up the new user section, media services, and blog engines. So those should be live before year end I hope!  Now I'm going to go pass out. |
