| How long does it usually take to activate a membership using a money order? I sent the money order on August 11th and I'm not a member yet. I emailed the webmaster August 25th and didn't get a reply. Thanks in advance for help. |

I used a CC to re-up the other day and all I had to do was refresh the screen after I submitted the order. The data changes automatically. Much better system than in the past.

It takes a while but NOT three months. You need to call the number on the m.o. receipt and see if it has been cashed. Staff has no direct access to GoatBoy in order to check, so if you can check on your end it will be helpful. If the m.o. has been cashed, then it is likely it was NOT received by the site as the cashing and account upgrade go together. IOW, I've never heard of him making a mistake with that. I'm sure you knew to put your screen name with the m.o.--not your real name. |
Yeah I put my real name and "Dation from AR15.com" underneath. If it hasn't been cashed, I think I'll cancel it and have a local member use a credit card. It says on the back of the money order that you need to fill out a 6401 to check if it's been cashed. That will take atleast 30 days. I'll check into it tomorrow. |
The ones I've used have a toll-free number to call to check the status of it. Perhaps you have one buried in the fine print. I hope this can be resolved quickly--I'm sorry it's happening, and thanks for supporting the site.
