Anyone know if the 24th MEU is on the ground yet? |

Quoted: If 2/2 is with the 24th MEU, then there is no way they could be attached to 1st MarDiv, as the MEU is based on the East coast which would make it part of 2nd MarDiv. Ok, I only know what I have seen trying to get info. Somewhere I saw it grouped with 1st Marine div. Last info I got he was on USS Austin 2/2 det B in and out of Kuwait before the war kicked off. | I went to Wilderness Medicine at the Marine Corps Mountain Wafare Training Center in Bridgeport CA in July. There were 4 corpsman in my class attached to 2/2. They went on float on or about 02AUG02 and are still over there as far as I know. This should be their 7th month on float. |
