| Saw one/got to shoot one at the range. Was a hoot for sure. Now I think I need one. I've kinda wanted a .308 CETME clone of some sort for a while, but never got into one. Now I see this thing that shoots .223/5.56 and takes standard AR mags and I think I need it. They good, quality-wise? |

I have only shot mine once but it was a pleasure to shoot. I have a first gen gun. Got it from Marcolmar but at a good price. Knowing magwell was tight. If you get one get the 2nd generation. I forgot what the cut off on the serial number is but if you buy from Marcolmar that is all they have. They opened up the magwell just a bit as the first gens was tight and kept alot of mags from locking in or they would get stuck and you would have to force them out. I went through my stash of GI mags and marked all the ones that fit it correctly. Look very well made and very solid. Mine is more of a range toy but glad I have one. |

I have the Marcomar L and LC. I got the L with a rail and put on a red dot (painted it to try to match the gun). I really like the LC with the collapsing stock. Comes with a pinned barrel extension that if you want to SBR it can be removed. The barrel with the FH'er would then only stick out about as far as the first set of barrel rings on it. Fun guns to collect and they use AR mags...I use Okay industries mags as MCM recommends. Oh and BTW, the hang guard on the LC was an optional one I bought from MCM, super rare early type. They found a small number of those in a Spanish military warehouse that were brand new, so I grabbed one of those too.  image host |

So far as I know the only issues were with some of the first run in which the mag sometimes sat too low. MCM says if you have one they will update it. All the ones they are selling now have the update. In case some may not know do not confuse the MCM rebuilt L series with the Spanish originals which were known to have issues. These issues were from poorly made springs and mags, all of which have been corrected now by MCM. If you did have an issue MCM is top notch to deal with and its owner will take good care of you and fix it. I'm thinking seriously about getting an LV model to go with my LC and L now as well. |

Lucked into a pair of mags on Gunbroker, one was modified and the other was not. I didn’t mod the second one in case I want an original some day. Having two good mags for a rifle that’s rarely fired is fine. |
