And Bradley Manning is still a traitor and deserves a bullet in the back of the head.

And OP; go back to Democratic Underground, where you belong.

HOLY SHIT! I never thought of it that way. Damn that George Bush was evil. Time to jump on the Democratic train and run this sumbitch of a country all the way into the ground.

Yep.

It was an inactive account for eight years. His first post was a couple of weeks ago in a (surprise!) Ron Paul thread.

So Figgy, I have a simple yes/no question for you.

Do you support and condone what Manning did? Yes or no?

Figgy is right. Manning did tell the "truth" when he gave secrets to our enemies. He told them "true" things that he swore an oath to never reveal, because to reveal such things would place our assets in danger, by revealing our sources and methods to the enemy.

Manning is a traitor who stole classified materiel and gave it to our enemies during war...

...and he is a hero to the FAR Left who hate this nation and root for our enemies.

NO, mcculver5

Bradley Manning took oaths. He signed documents affirming that he would not violate the trust placed in him. Those documents specified penalties for violation. He violated the terms of the agreement he had with the government to be granted access to sensitive material, and now he needs to pay the piper.

There is nothing admirable about Manning. He has no honor, and he is a traitor. The contents of what he released has nothing to do with that.

And I even agree with the premise of the first image... there was no legitimate reason for us to invade Iraq. It was a stupid, pointless move that has caused incalculable damage to this country even besides the thousands of lives and billions of dollars lost. But Manning should still be executed.

Manning signed the same NDA I did. He can spend the next lifetime in solitary as he is a dishonorable and traitorous POS.

Manning should get the firing squad for high treason.
Link Posted: 1/7/2012 9:29:33 AM EDT
True, I signed one of those, too. He should spend the rest of his miserable life in prison.

The Coalition Forces repelled Hussein but without conclusive defeat, Iraq was left in a state much like Germany post WWI. So Saudi Arabia and Kuwait ASKED for continued forces IN their countries. This continued to inflame many in the Islamic world, like Osama bin Laden.

In the 12 years after the cease fire of 1991, Iraq had been in material breach of the accords, yet little to no punitive measures were taken. This culminated in the 1998 expulsion of UNSCOM from Iraq. Yet nothing was done for 5 years.

The 2003 invasion and subsequent occupation of Iraq was nothing more than continuation of the 1991 Gulf War, legally speaking. The 1991 cease fire was a legal document, drafted by the UN. The problem which the 2003 invasion corrected is with the UN, not the US.

Didn't BUSH sign documents and take oaths also ????

I do believe that is a COC#4 violation, and OP's account needs to be taken out back and shot in the back of the head.
Several accounts were permabanned a couple of weeks ago for Manning support.
