[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Making exploding targets

No, I don't need technical advice.

I was wondering about the legalities of this. If it's legal, is there a limit on how much explosive I could make without a license of some kind? What are the storage requirements, if I wanted to make the targets ahead of time?

I am sure it varies from state to state.

And since you are in New Mexico I am betting it is somewhat leagal since fireworks are legal.

Yes, there is a limit. Check your local codes. I know in Texas in varies from county to county.

www.boomershoot.org used to have a history of one guy's slow process of getting ATF approval to make his explosive targets. Cant seem to find it on his page any more.
