Wow this must be another situation similar to open carry here. ![]() Disclaimer: Don't do anything stupid. It's your own damn fault if you get in trouble or hurt or hurt someone else, not mine or ARFCOM or anyone elses'. It might not be legal where you are so check local laws regarding it... Yada yada yada, for informational purpose only; www.tannerite.com/ I think it's aluminum powder and maybe ammonium nitrate. If you buy a lot of the latter expect a visit from the G-Men. |

Think about the CoC. Think about bad press from the uninformed media. Think about the soccer mom ninnys that will say "That AR15.COM must be a terror site, look how they tell people how to make explosives from bubblegum wrappers and shoe laces". And if you use it, do it responsibly. |

Tannerite is patented, so don't make it. When you're not making Tannerite, don't use the ratios of chemicals listed in the patent www.google.com/patents?id=HdATAAAAEBAJ And remember, when you're not making Tannerite, don't mix it until you get to the target site (really, don't), and use all of it when you're there (seriously) |
FUCK THE SHEEP and anyone who succumbs to their asses ....That is why law abiding weapons enthusiast are in the coward downed condition that we are in now...BECAUSE we care what other folks care about other than what we KNOW are our rights... GROW A PAIR AND STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS.... Tannerite is legal....LEGAL! Damn! |

Ammonium nitrate and Aluminum powder. Completely legal in the eyes of the BATFE. Your local ordinances may differ however. 95% AN 5% Al by weight. Get the good AN. Not the stuff from urea. Tractor supply and farm stores will carry big bags of the real AN for cheap. You don't even have to measure precise since the the reaction is really stable. Al long as you're not adding sulfur you're good. If you add too much Al powder all you're doing is throwing some money away. Take a small ziploc bag and fill it 50% full of the AN. Throw in a good teaspoon of the Al powder. Mix well. Wrap the bag in duct tape and shoot it. The Al powder will work better if you buy it as absolutely fine as possible. The finer the powder the more surface area is there for the reaction. Get 500 mesh at a minimum. |
