So........ I just bought a package of M-5000 fireworks. Never knew they made these. I worked with explosives and demolitions in the Marines, but these just make me feel uneasy. |

Aren't those just commercially made chinese little firecrackers? Legally they can contain only so much powder. Unless of course you have the huge illegal sort, in which case I would be uneasy as well lol. It's a misdemeanor weapons charge in CA, and a $2000 ticket. Don't ask me how I know.

| I don't think they sell any of the really big blast firecrackers anymore. They sell big ones, but don't have any more powder in them over a standard firecracker. About 10 years ago, I came back from SC with some M-90s and silver salutes. Thought I had something like the old M-80s. Huge disappointment. Report back after you light one off! |

If you purchased them commercially in a package and not as some homemade concoction from the friend of a friend then M-1000 , M-5000, M-1,000,000 it doesn't matter. The name changes but the powder inside is barley a coating. Read that as " You WILL be disappointed."
You could probably hold them in your ass cheeks and not feel more than a hard slap. |
