Probably misremembering a few key points. A war bird, I think it was a P51 flying down the runway right above a dragster driving down the runway. They were both belching flames out the exhaust. I’m quite confident that the picture was taken at the Chino, California airport. The Planes of Fame museum may have been involved. The name “Red Barron” seems to be stuck in my mind. I’m guessing it was early to mid 1980’s when I first saw the poster. Thanks for any help, my search skills are lacking. |
