I'm at a loss at the moment. Does anyone have a suggestion what to put on clam strip street taco's. I've had clam sandwiches with lettuce, mayo and tomato, but looking for something a little more. Any suggestions?! Think I might try Cole slaw, sweet corn, lime, cilantro, roasted red pepper aioli with it. This sounded good for some reason. I don't know, we'll see. |

I make a slaw specifically for fish tacos that should go with any seafood. Red onion in a good amount of lime juice for 1/2 hour. Then add some mayo, cumin, coriander, cayenne (or hot sauce). Cabbage and a lot of cilantro including the stems. Salt to taste. Key points: -Lots of lime juice and cilantro -No sugar or vinegar -Doesn’t need lime, cilantro, onions, or sauce to finish your taco |
I have used this guys sauce recipe for the last couple of years and it is wicked good, anytime I do fish taco's people gobble the s--t down. Hell my wife will use it on sandwiches or chicken strip even wings as dipping sauce. I am sure it would work on a Clam taco as well. The rest is up to you., don't over think it. ![]() Best Fish Taco Sauce EVER - In Less than 5 minutes I'd say add what you want to it... |
