Anyone here ever use LogiMeIn.com at home to gain access to your computer at work? I've been using it to run Autodesk Building Systems 2007 with great sucess - graphics lag a bit but well worth the savings in time and gas. 256 bit encryption... |

we use it for work when needed pretty good, not slow and helps with users that dont know how to reinstall a driver You can reboot it and on them logging in it will reconnect to the session. I go to https://secure.logmeinrescue.com/HelpDesk/Home.aspx Caller goes here www.logmein123.com And remote connect. For my personal pcs and servers I use Terminal server built into windows This works under port 80 and any one that surfs the net can access it. I work for a very very very secure area and it isnt a problem. Set up encryption and it is more secure than a VPN. |
