I know its been overshadowed by 9/11 in a lot of ways but I was around the corner that morning working at the Federal Reserve Bank...so I'm pretty sure I'll Never Forget

Hum.  Are we even talking about the same thing?

I'm referring to the incident where agents of our federal government stormed a church, and the resulting aftermath.

The bombing which came later, although tragic and despicable, was simply the predictable consequences of the abuse of power by some of our public servents.

No, we obviously aren't, since the thread is about OKC, not Waco.  See the big pic at the top?

I believe that he is referring to the Arab connection. It seems that the trial of Timothy McVeigh went a little too smoth, and was grossly underreported by the media.

I'm still not convinced the McVeigh and Nicholes were the masterminds behind it......

It is also kind of odd that the ATF was not at work in the building that particular day....

I thought some ATF agents were among the dead.  Guess not - mostly Secret Service, apparently.

As for the crater, is it possible that it's under all the debris from the building?  I don't know, I've never investigated the matter, but it would seem reasonable given that the front of the building collapsed down into the street.

I remember watching live coverage.

For about the first hour the news was reporting that responders had discovered more bombs unexploded in the building.

Then suddenly nothing else was mentioned about other bombs.

That, and some professional analysis of the amount of damage vs the energy generated by an ANFO bomb, led me to believe that there is much more to this than we have been told.

For the record , I don't believe in ANY conspiracy theories,  but that one just has too many un answered questions.

I'm thinking it was either foreign led or was a .gov sting that got away from them.  I just don't think the Clinton admin let us in on all the facts.

Oh it was terrorism alright.

But I believe it was mainly foreign terrorists using domestic pansies under the watch and protection of the US gov.

I don't believe the Gov't purposefully allowed the bombing, but I believe they knew it was being planned and was about to be carried out (that's why the bomb squad was at Murrah bldg that morning) - and then the gov't buried (literally) any connection to foriegn terrorists so as to keep the American people from demanding retribution (against both the foreign state sponsoring it as well as the gov't agencies who had some involvement in it).

Clinton/Reno always seemed to have the same type of "usual suspects" they'd scapegoat all throughout their administration all the while giving a pass to foreign terrorists every chance they got.

PA is a long way from OKC.  There were too many things that were swept under the rug, including the building itself when it was demolished within days of the attack.  No thorough investigation because the cause was already known.

Ding Ding Ding - Winner!!!

I have a video tape of the local news airing footage of the bombsquad leaving the scene with unexploded ordinance in the bomb truck.  I guess NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX must have forgot about that one...

231yrs ago men revolted against a government that had in the past locked people in churches and burned the churches.....218 years later our Federal government did the same thing.

OKC was a tragedy, it could have been avoided if the government had done a lot of things differently, Waco beging just one of them.
