Was just watching the promos for "Over There" on FX just now, and for the last hour, and I keep seeing the clip of a soldier fireing what appears to be a left handed m-16..What gives?

Is there such an animal, or is there a problem with the special effects?

Or am I just seeing things??   ..fullclip

I'm pretty sure that either Armalite or DPMS has offered lefty AR's for quite some time.

Edit:  Southpaw Panther at the bottom

It isn’t a Left Handed M16.
They reversed the negative without paying attention again.

It's possible they flipped the video while editing for reasons anybody could guess.

There is not an ambi selector, so it cannot be a left handed upper.

I've known about the left handed uppers for a while, being a left handed shooter myself, just wondered if I was the only one to see the clip on tv. And if the military used the lefties's.

I guess the editing room is the culprit of my visions.. fullclip

Nah, it's my canned response.  This topic has come up before.

Shooting an AR15 left handed doesnt really bother me but I think I have seen a few left handed models . Safety sucks but if I used mine for anything but hunting and general target shooting I would spring for a ambi. one.
