I got a killer deal on large sapis and got them for my medium interceptor. Just like I was issued. It's been 10 years since my last issued set but damn these feel huge.
I don't remember them being this big. Obviously the rear plate is fine but the front makes it harder than I remember aiming handguns and rifles. I just got them in tonight so I'll shoot with them tomorrow to really evaluate how I can function with them. Do swimmer cut plates make a huge difference? |

You can wear your front plate lower or angle that gun to miss the plate. I run Mediums now but I aint getting rid of my larges. I'll eventually rig a plate carrier to run larges in the rear and Mediums in front. I was shouldering guns last night. My M1 was the best fit. Yup, better than AR carbines. I wonder if it's the angle of the buttplate. I might look into trading into a medium plate to do that too but it's not urgent. Thanks for the idea |
