I believe the posters above me.
For a high end canoe to be left alone with two dogs in it well trained enough to be in a canoe with low initial stability/high secondary stability (I'm very familiar with that model canoe) and not tip is a little hard to believe. My dog is trained to ride in such a canoe. Add that to the strong current and the canoe moving and stopping while in current and an obviously well trained dog to swim and grab the rope and I see this as totally set up. I have to throw the BS flag up on this one |
