Yes it can be done.  I could contact Bushmaster to see if they warranty that kind of work.

Does Bushmaster make a 14.5" barrel the has a "Permanantly* attached supressor" ???

My upper is at their shop now*, and that is what I am being told. (Upper has 60rnds down it)
Their rep' is telling me the supressor can NOT be taked off, and Bushmaster want's to charge me for a whole new barrel assembly???
At full catalog price too !!!

Am I gettin' done wrong here ? Or am I missing some information ?
I need feedback from one of you guys, before I make a rash decision and Black-List this company.

Thanks'

I say get in touch with Jarrod over at the Bushmaster Forums located in the industry section forthwith and see if he can help you out with your problem.

a department i used to work for had an 11.5 with 5.5 supressor taken off.the gunsmith put the barrel in a lathe and cut the supressor until he saw the pins, then removed them and unscrewed the old one and put a new A2 supressor on it.it took longer to remove the barrel from the upper than to cut off the old one.i dont see why bushmaster cant do this instead of replacing the whole barrel.hope you get it worked out.how did it break anyway?i have the same setup and just want to know if i need to watch for anything special.what type of supressor did it have?
