It is kind of a "Firefly reborn" kinda show.

It feels like a similar world to the 'verse, but has it's own flair.

I like it. and no, i didn't search for duplicate threads...

The actors aren't nearly as good and the writing isn't even in the same verse. Not hating as I watch it and it's entertaining but not close to FF

No it's not. However it will last a full season, if not 2. It's decent viewing. Interesting how many non-cable stations have gone to Sci-FI / Fantasy shows the last few years. IF the trailers from comic-con for commercial tv have good writing & acting. Hopefully they'll stick around.

Eh. I watched the first couple eps and just couldn't get into it. I like Dark Matter more but even it is kind of meh.

It's not bad. But, I'm just waiting until The Expanse comes out. The books in that series have been pretty amazing.

I am reading the first book on kindle right now. I could see that series if done right being good.

They screened the first episode at comic con. Io9 had good things to say about it.

I am having a better time watching Defiance.

They are really pulling out the stops and letting their freak flag fly.

Dude...

The opening for this season... Holy hell it was dark. If you just jump into the new season you will be lost and asking where the hell is everybody.

Yes but it's Syfy so I fully expect it to crash & burn by the beginning of season 2.
