my key chain is one of those magnesium blocks with a flint on one side.  I recently added one half of a pair of kiddie scissors to use as a striker so I don't dick up the edge of my knife if I ever have to use it.

(been using this key chain since I was stationed up in AK almost 20 yrs ago.....got stuck out in the woods and it was too cold to get my Bic to work)
