I've got an interview tomorrow for a supervisor's position at a manufacturing facility. Two months ago I was in a motorcycle accident and came out with a broken wrist. I got my cast off almost two weeks ago, but am in a short brace. Should I wear the brace to the interview or take it off? Or do you think it won't matter one way or the other? When I have the brace off my wrist feels fine except its still real stiff and I have limited movement with it. Its also not my hand shaking hand, so no worries there. This probably isn't a big deal, just looking for opinions.

| I went to an interview in a sling after I fell down a flight of stairs drunk the weekend before it. I got the job. This job was crap locating utility lines, not anything in management, I would reccomend you don't wear it as the interviewer will draw any number of conclusions about it. |
| Many companies have a set of interview questions for all employees. Some use a "panel" of 3-6 interviewers from different parts of the Co. -say 1 from operations, 1 from admin, 1 from maintenance, and each are asked to write their own response to the canidates answers. Questions like "Tell us about a confrontation between you and a fellow employee or supervisor, or two employees other then yourself, and how did you deal with it?" Also "Tell us about a situation where a problem came up, and what you did to reslove it?" and "Tell us about a major accomplishment in your life". Good Luck, let us know how it goes. |
