Lock Stock, Snatch, Mean Machine, Revolver, The Italian Job, The Transporter.... All great flicks.
But these days it looks like he won't turn down a script, no matter how stupid it is (Crank, Crank 2, etc). Seriously, I guess if I was being paid a few million per flick I'd do as many movies a year as I could, stupid or not, but really..... Crank 2 was.... well.... I have no words to describe it. |

Similarly when I see an actor who was previous considered very successful, but is now doing commercials I think "well, that dude will take any job he can get now, I guess."
Then I realize they are probably getting paid more than I get in a year to do that one commercial. |

Love all the flicks he's been in.
As far as the bad movies go, I guess its work and let's be honest, I am sure even the shittier movies are fun to make and pay some good money. This is their job and I would probably be doing the same thing if I could.....well maybe not Crank 2, lol. I'm sure most of the actor are thinking, let me get as much money as I can now for even the shitty movies, because down the road I may be "only" be getting 100K for a Mountain Dew commercial. |

Really, you went to see a movie about a guy who has his heart removed, then has to kick ass to get it back. All this after surviving a fall out of a helicopter. Were you really expecting an oscar winning movie??? It was good for what it was. An over the top, cheesy action movie with guns tits and ass.... |
| i agree. Crank2 was exactly what I expected. if i wanted to watch great theatre, I'd watch shakespeare. I like jason Staham. he's a good action star, he just needs to have some integrity in turning some roles down if he ever wants to break out of "van Damme" typecasting. |
