So today we were running conduit above a furnace in a steel mill and we had to use a JLG to get there.. Anyways, I was curious if the weight capacity is underrated, or are we in for a disaster?  The weight Platform weight Capacity said 500lbs, and between me and the other guy, tools, pipe ect. there was probably close to 700lbs on the platform.

Just curious if anyone has any information these... The link below is the JLG we were using.

JLG makes good stuff, and I'm sure they believe in the Scotty School of Engineering.  The true spec will never be known until it is exceeded.
