Does cold screw it up? I purchased it two weeks ago. Used it for the first time today. It was telling me I shot 9 rounds when I shot 6. I used it again about an hour ago after it sat in my car and it was spitting out the craziest times.

Mine didn't come with a manual. I have it set on "delay" you hit the green button and wait for the buzz and start shooting. When you are done you hit RVW and then scroll through the times with the up and down arrows. Repeat again for next string. Am I getting anything wrong?

I bet when I figure out what's wrong it will probably turn out to be operator induced error. Where is that thread where the dude chops his spikes lower into piece?

I don't know about the Pact III, but I was using a CED 7000 a few weeks back when it was 28 degrees on the firing line in the morning. Battery life and the display were wonky and problematic until it warmed up a bit.

IIRC, the potentiometer for the receiver sensitivity is under the battery.  Use a small screwdriver to dial it down.
