I know the feeling.

I'll take any eggs that are cracked or too "poopy" and throw them over the fence to the chickens and they scarf them up. I figured out that this is not a good practice because once they get a taste for them and figure out where they can get more, you get cannibal chickens and your egg supply goes to shit. I just slaughtered all the hens as they were 2 years old and have a fresh bunch. I'll not feed them eggs any more and see how they do.

Mrs. Jack T draws the line at feeding pork scraps to our feeder pigs. Ham, bacon, sausage. . .all of it has to go to the dogs rather than the pigs.
