To be easily fatigued the day after a tough cardio workout?

Easily fatigued? Like collapsing after climbing a flight of stairs? That would be bad. But feeling generally a little more tired than usual is fairly normal. I once hiked 25 miles in a day and it took me 2 full days to recover.

BTW, your user name is awesome. How'd you come up with that?

Well, almost collapsing after a few flights of stairs. Maybe I need to start running again, my cardio's probably pretty shot.

Came up with it in Latin class, I was messing around with words.

The first few weeks it's normal. THen you should actually start to get more energy.

Do you regularly do cardio or was that one time a rarity? Was you fatigue muscle soreness or a general sluggishness? If you regularly do cardio and regularly feel very fatigued after it, you might just want to ask an MD about it.
