Police said they found shell casings inside the vehicle that matched those found at the shooting scene.
Investigators also found Frein's Social Security card, a Pennsylvania Game Commission range permit, camouflage face paint, a black-hooded sweatshirt, two empty rifle cases and military gear, state police Commissioner Frank Noonan said. Just wondering out loud here, but this guy either A: is the dumbest fuck ever or B: is being setup perfectly. seriously who commits a crime and then leaves a perfect collection of evidence conveniently not really dumped (lightly submerged?) - fuck I dont think I could even find my social security card if pressed to, and this guy took his to the crime scene to leave behind? seriously. and what would be the point if he beleived the jeep to be gone forever - to hide his social security card ? seriously.. do people think this way - it just seems very very convenient.. what am I missing here? |

That is kind of bizarre.
There are lots of places to ditch a car in that area where it would not be found by some guy walking his dog. A jeep would make it that much harder to find. There are old tracks and little gorges where people don't bother to go. Also, what is a Pennsylvania Game Commission Range Permit? I used to shoot at those ranges all the time. They never required a permit when I shot at them. Maybe that's recent. You could disappear for a while in Lord's Valley, though I wouldn't want to try it this time of year. Lots of hunters will be either bowhunting or scouting. Is this guy a survivalist or a tv news survivalist? |

I guess I didn't make the point clearly - by dumping the evidence he provided the evidence. he could have gone home and put his shit in the safe and afaik this would be some giant mystery right now.. |

The thought process from what ive heard is to help keep some of the riff raff off the ranges. gang bangers and what not who would come and just shoot the hell out of the target holders and basically trash them |

If he had a new fake identity and was planning to leave the area or country with a buddy with whom he a robbed a bank with earlier in the day, what would it matter? I'm still not convinced that there isn't some connection between the two events taking place on the same day and within 50 miles of each other. |
Of course he was a patsy. He found out that the moon landings were a hoax, and filmed on a Hollywood backlot. In order to stop him before he could spill the beans, the government - always waiting for its main chance - killed those cops and framed this guy to discredit him, and have him killed off.
