| Like when an Eisbock is made, a strong bock (I think usually a doppelbock) is frozen slightly, and then the ice is pulled. It's darker, heartier and richer beer as a result of that. I've heard that it counts as distilling, but that seems really retarded to me as there's no boiling and condensation as part of that process. |
