Are there any free macros out there that can repeatedly click through a particular set of links as programmed by the user? We encountered something funny at work where a student attempted to register for a particular closed class 2000 times in a period of hours. Unless he has serious OCD and wanted that particular class I think there has to be some program doing it for him.

Yeah, check out Ghost Mouse. It allows the user to record mouse movements then repeat over and over and over again.

I'm not sure if there is spyware attached to it, so do a little research before you download.

ETA: If you do want to download it, I'd download it from this link http://www.g4tv.com/techtvvault/features/44758/Free_File_Ghost_Mouse.html I'm sure G4 would scan all the programs they recommend for viruses and spyware before they suggest it on their website.

Why use a browser at all? Could have done it in any number of programming languages. What does the User agent string say?

Considering the courses the student is registering for I doubt he programmed anything himself.
