| What is the correct way to install a muzzle device or does it really matter? Should I use vise jaws to clamp the barrel or use an upper receiver vise block? I see people using both of these methods so Im just curious....... |

I see people using both of these methods so Im just curious....... You need to isolate the barrel, so clamp it, not the upper receiver in vice blocks. That can place torque on the barrel extension, and jack your headspace and gas port location up-I've seen it done. Clamp the barrel with insulators. |
