Inside Skinwalker Ranch, a Paranormal Hotbed of UFO Research
Locals say the ranch has been plagued by strange creatures and cattle mutilations. It's also been used for government UFO research. So what's really happening there?
*** Safe in the valley, the sky is blue, a sharp contrast from the grey storm skies at higher altitudes. The sun bounced off the mesa that made the area famous for paranormal junkies and UFO enthusiasts alike. Local lore has always told that strange lights hover over this area and that strange creatures roam the wilderness here. One tale tells of the Ute, an Indigenous tribe from this valley and their uneasy alliance with the Navajo. Siding with American military forces in the late 19th century, the Ute helped force the Navajo people out of the area. Local lore suggests that the Navajo unleashed a Skinwalker, a shapeshifter who can possess animals' skin. *** They heard disembodied voices, experienced poltergeist activity, witnessed horrible monsters emerging from portals, and claimed they encountered a wolf that, when shot several times by a high powered rifle at point blank range, did not die. |

Worked with an ex AF security guy that worked up there when BAASS owned it. He recommended the book by Goerge Knapp and had the same last name even though he wasn't related.

The History Channel is launching a new series on this topic next month. Same production crew as "Oak Island" series, with a very famous name producer. Let's just hope they don't decide to drill holes 300' into the earth in their quest to find evidence, or use the goofy announcer ("gold, on Oak Island...?") or even worse, bring in the looney cockney metal detector guy ("it's a Bobby dazzler!"). |

I don't know much about it. But don't expect to learn much from the History Channel series. I sort of hope they show up with drilling rigs to drill down into tunnels or something. Because modus operandi. |

The dogs were also not bait, they were used as biosensors. The scientists learned very early on that the dogs always seemed to know what was happening on the ranch. |
