I know that a lot of people in the hive are done with this mess. The world is going down, and there's nothing that anyone can do about it.
Every year that world get worse and worse, our fellow no longer has no love. Everyday people are killed or left for dead for many reasons. Its just sad, but that's the reality of things to come to every nation in the world. This country in no better, people here stuff go to bed hungry. People are still homeless and some people lose everything because of some decision they made. Nobody wants to work, everyone wants a god damn handout of some kind. I wish people would understand that there is no one that can actually make things better for anyone. The people who were voted in power only set things up so that there pockets are filled with cash. Once in a while they stir the pot. Its no always good thing like people want. Instead of trying to solve the basic issues that people have to deal with, they worry about the stupidest crap they can think. Then when they mess up in front of everyone, its ignored like nothing happened. People think about themselves no matter what. They care about ME only and don't bother to think about anyone else. The people who don't work want everything giving to them for just simply breathing. Really.... that means your entitled to becoming a millionaire for just showing up. You don't plan things, because you assume that someone else is going to fix it for you when things get to hard. Deal with it. Don't have kids if you cant afford it or have a place to live, a job, drug free, booze free, and time. I know that shit is hard but children need parents like that. They don't need rich parents, just loving parents that can be there when it counts. The people who are born with a silver spoon. Don't think that you shit doesn't stink. You are in a great position, you don't have to worry about where your next meal is coming from or if you'll make enough money to pay all the bills. Poor people are not your slaves or any less of a person. Money comes and goes. You might be rich right now but money does burn. Your not entitled to anything special because you have money. You get old like everyone else and you will eventually die just like everyone. Just more worm food. I'm tired of people saying that this guy is the guy that's going to fix things. NO, its all a lie. Do you really think that your vote really matters? Money is the game of government. It will not stand by and watch itself lose a dime to anyone. The entire nation could vote in one direction, but still the other guy wins. Its all bullshit. I don't care about it. I will obey the laws of the land until they force to do something I don't believe in |

I'll have to go back and re-read the OP before further comment. OK, I'm back. I started wondering if my vote counted when I learned years ago how many votes are lost or not counted. Add to that the fact that most politicians aren't fit to hold office and it gets frustrating. I still vote. |

Of course, things were pretty bleak in the Revolutionary War, then in the War of 1812, then during the Civil War, then during WWI, then during WWII––when people genuinely had something to fear. Today's Americans mostly aren't worthy of the name. Sad. |

Know what I dislike?
Preachy people, drama, and the Dutch. There is a philosophy of circles in your life that radiate outward from you at the center, and the only thing you should really worry about are the circles closest around you. As you move outward your individual influence is limited, and any effect on the world you have outside of those closest circles is no longer under your control no matter what you do. The frequency at which you concern yourself with what is beyond your control is directly related to how unhappy you are. Your role in this world is very limited, so pursue your own happiness. Everything may work out to your benefit outside of what you influence if you just do what it is that makes you happy. |

We get what we deserve, we forsake God and he does the same. If the people in this country believed as the Founding Fathers did I believe we would not be in the situation we are in today. It really is that simple. They were up against odds that dictated a lost by any measure but they were successful in the founding of this country. Only God could have gotten them through those odds.

I think that is what causes the exasperation in people now. Do you keep trying the same route you've tried before without success? People are not self sufficient anymore. Survival, or at least quality of life is dependant upon others and it scares people when the others are trying to screw them over and make things way more complicated than they need to be. |

This atheist never needed magic sky fairies to see me through some pretty god-awful times, from the death of my father to abject poverty, from the loss of friends and jobs to health problems. I, like everyone who's ever faced tough shit, had to put one foot in front of the other, address each challenge as it came and decide that I wasn't going to succumb to my own self-pity. If some people think that strength comes from God, fine, but it's not required. Trust me. Plenty of great men who didn't have any use for God built this country right along with the people who prayed fervently. |

The best things in life are worth fighting for. I for one, will continue to fight on. My time on this earth will not be spent in sorrow, but in the comfort of knowing that I made the best of every situation, and learned how to be a better person for it. I will go to my grave knowing that I was a good provider, a successful induvidual, and a credit to my family name.
