This is the third time it's been ruled unconstitutional. The first two times lost in the higher IL courts, since the dems own those judges lock stock and barrel. It should have been ruled unconstitutional when it was first instituted, since it was and is unconstitutional. They know it, they know we know it, and they don't care at all. Pure scum of the earth running this state. I was 19 when it came to pass, and I had to get my first one to buy a Sheridan Blue Streak because of the muzzle velocity. That's since been changed, but even then I knew something was wrong. I should have moved out to another state as soon as I was able. I don't like anything about this one. The roads are a bad joke, taxes are brutal, the pols mostly should be in jail, and the Chicago sports teams all suck. Chicago rules IL like Mordor in the Lord of the Rings. Mordor by the lake. Jabba wants to turn IL into CA, with lousier weather. |

This case has been working its way around for years. Originally it was ruled the you didn’t need a FOID to own a gun in your house but it ONLY applies to Brown, similar to that recent machine gun case where it ONLY applies to the defendant. IL will appeal, and stonewall, and waste more taxpayers money over assfucking the constitution that that shithole state is known for. |

I don't think most people understand that this state is ruled by a handful of counties....if we could push Cook county into the lake, this state would have a much different political landscape. Unfortunately, I don't think that's likely to happen.

Attached File I stopped hoping Illinois would fix the PICA and FOID issue and voted with my feet. I left Illinois in November of 2024. There is no hope for Illinois, now or ever.
