My fiance is prego. Was due July 18th. Today they did an emergency c-section. Baby Aubrey was 4lbs 1oz and awesome for a 33 week old. Thats the good part.

The bad part. Allison went back into surgery. She had a hole in part of her colon. They removed that and did some more looking around and founf the rest of her colon was full of poylps. With that, she may have colon cancer.

What ever you do, prayer, just best wishes, I could use them right now.


On a side not, I asked her parents for there blessing to marry her.

We had our daughter at 35 weeks.  The first few months were rough, but you'd never know she was premature today (2 1/2 years later).

Thanks everyone for the words. Allison is on a breathign machine right now, and will be for a few days we think. Tests are coing back ok, but still waiting on the byopsy (sp?).Will let you know more when I know.

Not that she was aware of. With the amount of polyps they found, she has had to have had this for some time, but im guessing the pregnancy was the catalyst for use to see it.

Though it may be hard to see right now, your beautiful baby girl may be a blessing in more ways than one - she has given you the wonderful gift of a child, and through her birth, your fiance and the doctors found what could potentially be a problem which means you may have caught it early enough, if it is trouble, to fix everything.

Our son was due July 16th, born June 9th.  He weighed 4 lbs, 13 oz, and was in the NICU for 10 days to get anti-biotics and proper care.  That was 8 years ago next week and today he is a healthy basket-ball playing, target-shooting kid.  Have faith that your baby will be fine.

Prayers said for your Fiance....May God watch over and protect her.
