I'm putting a new plug onto my motion light, however the I don't remember if the old plug used the copper ground wire or not, I'm 99% sure that it just used the black and white wires but I want to be positive! I cut the old plug off a few days ago (it's a 2 prong plug) and I don't remember what wires that it used. I'm 99% sure that it's just the black and white wires but I need to be 100% sure! TIA! |
if you're not using it, fold it back out of the way , snip it so it doesn't interfere, whatever's easiest for you. |
That is correct, however thats a dangerous piece of information to share with someone who may now fully comprehend that ramifications of using the ground as a nuetral. |
