In order to demonstrate why force is sometimes needed, below are 10 simple steps you
can take if you happen upon a peace rally by well-meaning but naive people:

1)  Approach one of the demonstrators talking about "peace" and saying there
should be, "no retaliation."

2)  Engage him in brief conversation and ask if military force is
appropriate.

3)  When he says "No," then ask, "Why not?"

4)  Wait until he says something to the effect of, "because that would just
cause more innocent deaths, which would be terrible and we should not cause
more violence."

5)  When he's in mid sentence, punch him in the face as hard as you can.

6)  When he gets up to punch you back, point out that it would be a mistake
and contrary to his values to strike you, since that "would be terrible
because violence begets violence."

7)  Wait until he pledges not to commit additional violence.

8)  Punch him in the face again, harder this time.

9)  Repeat steps 6 through 8 until he understands that sometimes it is
necessary to punch back to protect yourself.

10)  Once he has been "enlightened" leave before he resolves to form a
"Coalition" with the police to have you "brought to justice, or bring
justice to you"!
