Another man who was in the workshop at the time of the explosion was rushed to a hospital with severe burns, a police officer told Reuters. The workshop was destroyed and several cars parked outside caught fire. Police found several unexploded army issue rocket-propelled grenades in the workshop. They believe the ammunition had been brought there by scavengers wanting to sell them as scrap metal, but they also are investigating a possible link to Rio's heavily armed drug gangs who often raid military bases. |
If it don't fit force it, If it won't come apart beat it till it does. I'd say he was successful in totally dismantling the rocket. That is Reuters, how do you know they didn't photoshop those RPGs into the pic? |

How many morons feel compelled to whang on high-explosive with heavy objects? It has got to be something genetic… I’ve just read too many reports of some fool taking a blow-torch/hammer/saw/chisel to something with a blasting-cap in it. The Darwin Awards are littered with people shuffling off this mortal coil because “the grenade was old.” I think it’s the same gene that makes people point a gun at their head and pull the trigger “to prove it isn’t loaded.” |
