How many rounds has anyone here fired; just plinking, for fun in a single day? What caliber?
Any fun targets involved?

Not sure of the exact count, I've got a friend with an M-16 when it shows up the round count skyrockets!  Hella lot of fun though.[:D]

The highest one day count for me is 5100.

2500rds of .22, 900rds of .223, about 700rds of .308, and another 1000rds of 9mm.

Yeah...put a BIG f'ing dent in the wallet, but it was fun.

We have our annual "Knob Creek" style demo with our personally owned gear, it is a mainly an invitational shoot, reservists, IPSC and other "qualified" individuals we know. About 800 9mm, 450 .223, 300 .308 and various others is i guess most that i´ve shot during them, most time is spent on supervision and troubleshooting .

PS.Those flame thingies look bad for the resale value of the car.

I cringe when I shoot these days. It's awfully expensive for me to shoot as much as I'd like to.
Yesterday I shot 120 5.56, 60 12 gauge 00 buck, 70 45 acp. Today it was 80 308.

Thousands of rounds out of an M2 until the barrel was white and my fingers grew tired of holding down the butterfly.
Imagine 4 Hummers on line all doing the same thing for over an hour until noone else present wanted to shoot another round.
They REALLY overdrew the ammo allotment that day, and we had an NCOIC that didn't want to turn it in. we couldn't fire it all....had to turn a lot in anyway.........

At our SoCal shoot back in DEC 00, I went through 600rds of .233, 100+rds of 7.62x39, another 200rds of 9MM all in one day.

Well we had, but I personally did not shoot at all of em, pepper poppers/stereo/school clock/pumpkins/melons. On guy was shooting at 4clays at a time(rapid fire) with a Benelli 0uchhh!!!!!
