lets say firearms become outlawed, and the government compiles list of those who have major weapons caches....
they give you a chance to turn your weapons in, and you keep them...so the ATF, sheriffs office, whoever shows up at your door to sieze your weapons and possibly put you in jail now i understand this is the internet and everyone can be a hero...but honestly answer, and remember your little kids in bed or your wife in the next room over if you have either of them...but 1. would you turn your weapons in? and 2. would you go peacefully if they came to get you? siezures happen....i realize those militia guys in the northwest might have had alot more problems than what im explaining, but it shows a point i have no dependants, and i personally believe that if america came to that, then i wouldnt want to live in this america and i wouldnt have a problem engaging those who were coming to take my freedoms away |

Lemme try this again (fuckin IE lost my reply).
It's not gonna happen in my area, because a) most of the LEOs hold similar beliefs, and b) there's about 30 of us, versus a population of 25K. In any situation where arms confiscation is a reality, LE will be way too busy dealing with the typical dregs. ETA: I agree with Thatdude333. |

So the question is "would you rather live in England or die?" Unless there's a large COORDINATED resistance movement, anyone that makes a stand is going to get killed, labelled a terrorist/extremist, and your sacrifice will only result in a local news story about a dangerous man shooting it out with police. IMO, if it comes to this, the US is already lost, we'll be New Britain, CCTV's everywhere, knives getting banned, ect. At that point, might as well just drink more and watch the downfall of civilization. |
