I bet I have seen 5 different threads today on ARFCOM where the word "Independence" has been spelled "Independance" in the post title. WTF  ?!?!Is it that damn hard to spell it right? I am not usually a spelling Nazi, but that is pretty sad. rant off/ Oh well, Happy Birthday America!!! |

Having suffered from dyslexia, back in the 60's before they knew what it was. I have to a very large degree overcome it. Still, I have learned to spell more in the last 15 years, than I did in the first 38 of my life. Even so, I have to say :THANK GOD FIREFOX HAS SPELL CHECK!! |
"Nazi" would more appropriately be NAZI. I am not great at spelling, so I use the spell check. Actually, my spelling has improved quite a bit because of spell check both in MS Word (I write a lot at work) and in Firefox. |

If you're not sure about the spelling of a particular word highlight it, call up google, copy it in the box and hit search MOST of the time it will say "Did you mean:" and then give the correct spelling at the top of the page(if you got it wrong)works 99% of the time
