How long does it take you to install a lower parts kit? By the time my Son is finished I am still looking for detent springs that went flying. He did ten the other day in 28 minutes. |

I can never afford to do more than one at a time so I have absolutely no need to rush.
But if I were in a hurry for some reason, and I had all the parts and tools laid out and ready to go... 3-5 minutes would seem reasonable. As it is, I'm in the 30-60 minute ballpark to get all the tools out, check everything over, do the job, put the tools away, etc. |

Ten in under half an hour? That is impressive. I'm with you on the floor looking for the detent spring. If I was in a hurry (and lucky), I could probably do it in about 5-6 minutes, I'm guessing. I am tempted to take one apart now, just to time myself putting it back together.

Quoted: The first time I ever walked into the shop and saw how he does it , he dumped all the parts for 15 lowers on the bench, he separated them into like parts in piles.Quoted: How long does it take you to install a lower parts kit?
