You need to be a licensed logger to purchase a chainsaw?

You need to be a licensed landscaper to purchase a lawn mower?

You need to be a licensed contractor to purchase a pickup truck? A licensed limo driver to carry more than 5 people in one vehicle?

You need to be a licensed chef to purchase a butcher's knife?

Etc?

Isn't one of the requirements of socialism and communism is that you are only allowed to have one set of skills and work in a single profession? Some countries have laws that you can only officially work one job.

We all know that the Democrats hate self reliance and preservation. We also know that they favor labor unions and would probably love to pass the types of restrictions to prevent people from doing their own work on their homes and property. We also know that they and the MSM would portray the regulations as being for the "greater good". "Untrained loggers with chainsaws would be a danger to themselves and others", etc.

The OTHER reason why they'd love it is most families wouldn't be able to afford to hire people to do every little thing for them because the laws prevents them from going it themselves. Instead, lawns grow unruly. Trees fall down. Homes become unsightly. The people who work in those professions also wouldn't get as much business. This is why the government steps in to further regulation like "lawn mowers can only charge $10 per lawn". People who can't afford even that will get fined by the cities they live in. Another way to squeeze the middle class out of existence.

Seriously. Not even kidding here. If they stay in power, I give it about 10 years before we see shit like this.

Not even 3 months into BHO's second term, we see massive pushes for gun control and talk of further regulating retirement accounts... And we still have 3 years and 9 months left.

I am trying to look now - not always the best at googling obscure things. I have heard from the people that I had spoken to in Italy that you're only allowed to have one official profession. A lot of people moonlight doing other things, but Italians have a general disdain for the law... Trying to find evidence, though.

More and more likely as the Emperor continues his reign of error.

I'm not trying to be an ass. That assertion intrigued me so I googled and found nothing, I was hoping you had some specifics to educate me. Thanks for looking.
