How can the same economy that just saw a time where it was so hard to find high dollar items just before Christmas (things like Wii, etc) and people were willing to pay $1000 for a $200 item be in a 'recession' *(the Dems words, not mine)?????

The same way that the TV keeps saying that Maryland has one of the hottest real estate markets in the country, yet dozens of houses in my area have been on the market for over a year.
