I read and studied, then bought a LWRCI M6IC.....it is awesome.

I read and studied, then I built a fairly high end AR.....it is awesome.

Now I want more, I mean how many AR's does one need?

I set up the LWRCI for long range and the home built for closer range, but I have the itch for more.

Do I have a sickness?

If you have to ask then you don't have enough. That is why it is called BRD, black rifle disease.

You need a 20", 18", 16", 14.5" pinned to 16" if your in a state that won't allow SBR. Then you need either an SBR 12.5" if you can or a 10" pistol. Then you need them in different caliber's and then clones. Ah hell good luck.

I am trying to find a reason to build a 12.5" midlength.

So, apparently "enough" is when you get to that point.

I have 6 complete and enough parts to almost finish 7 more. I thought about it, and there are 8 more "interesting" builds I'd like to do which would bring my total to 21. The nice thing about living in America is I can buy something just because I want it, not because I 'need' it:)

The happiest I've ever been with AR15s is when all I had was my SP1.

While it is comforting to have a stockpile....I'd worry more about magazines, ammo, etc.

Fear of legislation is what inspires proliferation.  Get what want. Get your fill. You'll most likely voluntarily sell 3/4 of your collection before the ride is over.

Once you pass 2 you are beyond need into want.  You can want and obtain as many as you want.  I currently only have 7 and have plans for more.

Whenever your collection has the 'right' combination of a variety of barrel lengths, calibers, optics and handguard/accessory options... which for most would fall somewhere between 1-3, 3-5 or 5-20 rifles.

Then you start on the optic disease. It begins with an EoTech, then an Aimpoint, then you get an ACOG and suddenly EVERY build needs an ACOG!
