If you stare at the design/function for a minute, you'll sort of see why it makes for kind of a shitty semi-auto trigger, when you're using it that way (on a milspec trigger, anyway).

That was VERY impressive animation work. I noticed that there are scratches and wear in the close ups, instead of a perfect, clean looking gun. Nice little detail.

Beat one I've seen so far.
As the carrier has a slight delay in action due to mass, the animation could have shown the bolt thrusting forward and compressing the spent casing which slightly clears the barrel extension lugs before fully unlocking.
