I wanted to go custom kydex for my new carry rig, a CZP07 with Burris FF3 and an Olight PL mini 2. Only problem was the lead time. I can't blame a custom holster maker for a lead time, I hope it means they're busy, I just so happen to be one of those Amazon spoiled millennials that need things in 2 days, so I did just that. 
I ordered stuff to make my holsters and was able to come up with an IWB for my P07 and and an OWB for my CZ clone. Vacuum sealer + band saw + dremel made for a fun project tonight. Needed to make sure the sights didnt get squeezed so I used some skewers and painters tape. Attached File Then I cut and heated the kydex in the oven @ 330 until it was bendy like a piece of cheese Attached File Then I wrapped the hot kydex around the gun, slipped it in a vac sealer bag and vacuumed it to form. My FF3 has a white line on the back, thinking about having Lone Wolf do a race mount for it and using the line with a dotted front sight as the irons. Get the proper front and you should be pretty well off...

My favorite home rolled holster...
Attached File The speed loader holder puts 3 rounds IWB and 3 rounds OWB. and it is a horizontal cross draw "Driving holster" with thumb retention. |

I'm kind of surprised the vacuum sealer was able to draw enough vacuum. I have seen folks use a shop vac/vacuum bag setup before, especially for wet molding leather. You can use a heat gun (keep it moving) and the rounded end of something like a Sharpie marker to get more detail in the Kydex if you want. |

Glad I could help. I saw guys doing it with foam molds and I thought, I bet a vac sealer would do a better job and I could see exactly where the kydex needs to shift, etc. |

| Can we get a parts list? Looking for the thickness of kydex, the source for the belt/retainer, screw types, rubber spacers, and nuts to hold everything together. I never thought to use the vacuum bagger and I would like to come up with some of my own for 22's with cans on them. |

Total was $40 and I had enough for 2 holsters. I still have 2 sheets of kydex and plenty of hardware so I am going to order 2 more clips and be all in for $52 for 4 holsters. |
