I kind of prefer the second. The first makes me think "trying too hard". The hair could stand to be longer, either way. In fact, bangs with longer hair might look pretty darned good on you.
The most important factor, to me, isn't the arrangement of the hair, but how well it's taken care of. You could give someone a great hairstyle, and it'll look like crap if it's raggy and dull and flat. If it's shiny and bouncy and clean, even an average style will look good. |

Yeah, I agree about the longer hair thing. I am tired of it being short. And I don't think I could live with myself if I didn't take care of my hair. If there is one thing I am vain about, it is my hair. Its been years since it has looked crappy. Thanks for the comments folks! |

Quoted: I like the bangs, but I also like the shorter length in the first pic. looks like I'm in the minority, but I think it looks very well put together - not high maintenance - but very "done." I like it. Thanks. In the second pic I was working for a place that required my hair to be pulled back, but I no longer work there so I am able to play with my hairstyle now. I prefer short hair, but the length my hair is right now shows my chubby cheeks too much. I like the look of the bangs, I think it breaks my face up and shows it off a little. And I WISH my hair was not high maintenance! I have naturally wavy/frizzy thick hair and I have to do a lot to make it look as good as it does. I have to wash it daily, blow dry it at night, and straighten it in the morning. And I would love to have long hair again, but my neck isn't strong enough any longer to support it. So I have 6 for no bangs and 2 for bangs and a couple that say either way is fine. Thanks folks! |
