So, is it time to let the washer go? We've got an old Maytag 610 washer. Skipping cycles, won't spin out half the time but then will sometimes. I installed a new timer but still having problems. Gets to the spin and stalls...then you go to check it out 30 minutes later and it has spun out. And yes, I did install with all the wires in the proper place. Is it possible the new timer is defective? What other fixes should we try? Thanks. Mrs. Ekie |

Go here and ask him to buy you a new one... He did get a new Credit Card, and He is the Master of all things Home Appliance. |

No noises from the gears. No smell It will spin out after the wash, fill and then start to spin on the rinse but stops....then will skip around do a soak for 30 minutes and finally spin out. This is why I am questioning if the new part is defective or not. But, with the old timer these were the same problems. We will check the hoses for clogs. |
