If it is already stinking stuff up, what further stink could a .45 to the head do? YMMV!

Your nowhere near Augusta correct?

If so I have smaller suppressed options.

Or I'll go after it with a golfclub

If you shoot it you might get one quick spray as it dies. The skunk doesnt stick on its own, it sprays stinky juice out the poop chute.

Get in touch with Mark and have him bring over a suppressed .22.

Not a bad idea, I think it's digging around the Koi pond.  I live in the country, nobody says anything when I shoot out here, even in the dark.

I'm an hour west of Augusta on Lake Oconee.

Abit beyond my driving range this late, even to kill happy woodland critters.

That's OK, Dad just gave me a 870 and I picked up shells earlier in the week.  That and a shovel will do the job I'm sure.

It doesnt make you feel cool like a supressed 22 would,

Get the M44 and some 174grain ammo (this may not end pretty)

Damn Taxman, 174 grains is a bit excessive for something the size of a cat!

But the muzzleblast and fire will help send the smell away from you.

Ok here an idea, get one of those tall ammo cans, put bait in it and place as close as possible.  if it goes in the can rush up, shut and lock it, release it near someone you dont like.

Seems to me you should NOT point it at the skunk!!

Just put in a Kotex.....and then relax!!

Everything will be fine in the morning.....If not a little stinky!?
