[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help XP

I got so much crap on my PC and it is seriously degrading its performance. I have had XP on my machine since it was released. I just want to get rid of all of it and start over. There is nothing on my PC worth saving.

Question is, how do I do it? How do I reformat my hard drive then reinstall XP?

IIRC, you should be able to do it this way....

(short and simple)

Boot your system to the WinXP CD

follow the on screen menu's and re-install it.

remember what it is that you are wanting to do and select the appropriate reply.
